New directions ( Sunshine Coast Boutique Portraiture)

I have had a lot of soul searching over the last few months over the portraits section of my business.

I have found so many woman who have been unhappy with the way they look, especially mums, which makes me so sad. I love to photograph families in a natural way in order to get beautiful expressions and emotion from the photographs. Candid style of photography is emotive but is not the most flattering of styles and because of this I have found so many woman sad about the way they look. .So I have been searching for a way I can make woman, mums, grandmum’s and all woman feel beautiful and special.

Which lead me to Sue Bryce a beautiful portrait photographer who is now in Sydney but has her studio in New Zealand. She has become the expert in beautiful glamourous  portrait photography for the real woman.

I emailed her in and effort to have some mentoring for this style of photography. I went to Sydney this weekend to spend time with her and some beautiful real girls in order to show and teach me how to do this style of photography. This has been quite changing for me and made me do some soul searching about my business.

I have made the decision to no longer offer family photography , newborn and children’s photography as I do it now.. I have decided to stream line my business and do what I love and in the process make woman feel beautiful.

I want to photograph the relationships between mothers and daughters, relationships between couples and also the relationship of a woman with herself, her girl friends or anybody she feel close to.I want to make woman feel beautiful and look beautiful.

So stayed tuned for some amazing photographs from beautiful everyday woman. Isn’t it time we celebrated each other!!

Edgy Maternity Session (Canberra maternity photographer)

I’m lovin’ my Maternity session’s at the moment. Woman of today are creative, bold and gorgeous and so proud of how they look! This shoot is a great representation of this. I went out yesterday with Amanda and Paul to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their little bubba, who mind you is due in 1 week.

We had a great time trying out different looks!~ most men are a little shy to get their photo taken but Paul was such a great sport, happy to be the prop lol!

Thanks guys for such a great afternoon!
