Kirsty and Darren Gold Coast Queensland (Gold Coast wedding photography)

This Friday i flew up to sunny Queensland to photograph the wedding of Darren and Kirsty, It was my second wedding for the Goldie family after photographing Belinda and Ben last year. It was such an honor to be invited back into this wonderfully warm family:)

Everything was so beautifully done which was no mean feat considering they organised the wedding from Canberra. Again I was brought to tears by the speeches, especially Kirstys’ dad who was the most emotional person there, you could tell he was beaming with pride.

Thank you to everyone for making me feel like apart of the furniture and inviting me to be apart of such a special occasion.

Also a HUGE thank you to Lisa who kindly assisted me for the day and who chauffeured me around for 3 days, I owe you BIG time :)

By the way if you would like to see Belinda and Ben’s wedding you will find them in the Winter issue of Creative Weddings magazine.

Beautiful girls (Canberra children’s photography)

My gorgeous girls were models for me today to try out some funky new hats and techniques.

My girls both have their daddies eyes and they run through his whole family, I’m sure they will melt some hearts when they are older (not before 30 I hope lol)

Remembering the small things (Canberra Family photographer)

In these tough times of financial pressures, and life’s up and downs. Its so important to take a step back and remember what we have and what is important to us. This photo shoot I did yesterday was just that, not for me but my sister and her kiddies who have all been feeling lifes struggles lately. My small contribution to them to make them know how precious they are to me and how important they are to each other. These memories will never be replaced but enjoyed for many years…These are the things in life that are important, all the money in the wrold can not buy, love, respect, friendship and family…

Beautiful Sophia (Canberra newborn photographer)

Today I made the drive out to Tallong, north of Goulbourn to photograph the long awaited arrival of Sophia. I got slightly lost thanks to my walk about sat nav but one call to Kimberley and I was back on track! :)

Kimberley and Andrew have spent along time trying for a baby. I could just see from the way they doted on her to know how much a precious and much anticipated bundle she is.

I love this quote below and I think it is so appropriate right now :)

Before you were conceived, I wanted you.

Before you were born, I loved you.

Before you were here an hour, I would die for you.

This is the miracle of life.

Cherry Seed tea parties (children’s advertising photography)

Sunday we had Sami’s 6th birthday party.

I was running a little late organising it after being in Melbourne for a week, so I did a quick google search and found the most adorable little shop at Gold Creek Village called Cherry seed. They do parties for anyone with the theme of cupcakes and gourmet tea…children’s parties have sparkling orgainic juice. Belinda is the lady that runs the shop, and she has done such a beautiful job of  decorating the shop, you can’t help but fall in love with it when you walk in, and  if that dosen’t get you one bite of one of her cupcakes is sure to work lol:) www.cherryseed.com.au
