Family ( Canberra Family photographer)

Families are the compass that guide us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter.
– Brad Henry

In times of hardship we have our family and their love to fall back on, this is one family who don’t need to be told how important they are all to each other.

Thank you for yesterday Jo and Shaun :)

What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance.  They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life.  And, most importantly, cookies.  ~Rudolph Giuliani

Little Evie ( Canberra Children’s photographer)

I can’t believe it was nearly 2 years ago that I photographed Mel and Josh’s wedding :)

Yesterday I got to meet their new little bundle of joy… and what personality!!

I don’t usually do in studio photography, but since we have renovated and it was so cold outside, I thought we could try something different.
Thanks Mel and little Evie for coming to visit me yesterday, it was such a joy!

The girls turn! ( Canberra Children’s Portrait Photography)

Not along ago I took out Alexander for some funky timber jack photos, well this weekend was his sisters’ turn!!

I try with children’s photographs to work out their personality and photograph and style the shoot accordingly. This shoot is a prime example of beautiful soulful children’s portraiture and how a child doesn’t have to smile to make it a powerful image.

Sarah- Jane’s images are just that!! She has an amazing amount of presence, when she looks into the lens you can’t help but be taken by her and this transfers into the photograph. So grown up for such a young lady.

Hubbie gets a make over (Canberra corporate photographer)

Its a bit embarrassing when on my hubbies website is this shocking head shot that a workmate took for him with a point and shoot (especially when his wife is a pro photographer lol).
So off we went this morning to change that and give him some photos to make him look as spunky as he really is!!
There is nothing worse then a professional without some professional headshots.
To give you a run down on the man behind the woman;
Hubbie is the brainiac who teaches professional human skills, including reading people, micro expressions all the stuff you see on the show Lie to me ( this show is actually based on the stuff he does) and the Principles of Persuasion. You can see more info here as it is a little over my head (sorry sweetie , but you know it is hehehe)
Anyway here is my SPUNKY hubbie!! You can see who my kiddies look like now, yep I didn’t get a look in and no his eyes have not been photo shopped :)
